Quality Control Job Description Video

1) Downlad Edited Assets From Dropbox

  • Go to the Done Job folder and look for yesterday's date, and download it's entire folder.
  • Bring up external hard drive and then organize photos into the clients folders.

2) Organizing The Downloaded Photos Into Client Folders

  • Login to your account at our admin center.
  • Go and click on Dashboard where you will see the calendar for today, go to week view to see photos from the day prior.  
  • Edit and organize photos chronologically from 10am to 6pm (Our operation hours) [24 hour turn around time so 10am clients get their projects back first]
  • Click on the client, highlight the address because it will be the name of the folder to be created.  
  • Find client's name and use for folder in external hard drive.
  • Within that folder make a new folder with the date: year, month-Then create a folder for the address. This is where the unedited photos will be/or are transfered. Drag it into client's folder if not done already.
  • Next we will make a folder for the final images.
  • *If clients have similar names go to dashboard and look for specific date/times for photo delivery. 

3) Import Photos Into Light Room

  • Import edited photos from Editor into Lightroom and then export them.
  • Open lightroom, make sure you start editing the first project of yesterday at 10am
  • Go to library-Shift command I to import-Look for said client and find unedited photos. 

4) Arrange the Photos Corresponding to the Layout of the house

  • Click the Library tab at the top of Light room.
  • On the left of the screen locate the address of the house in the light grey sidebar under the hard drive.
  • Once the address is selected you will then be able to click hold and drag.
  • Make sure to put the exterior front shots first then end with the exterior back yard shots.   

5) Retouching Exterior & Interior Photos

  • Start with Exterior photos and apply an Exterior preset. To brighten exposure.
  • For exposure shots focus on  the green and blue HSL. Darker blue skies and enhance the grass saturation without it looking fake. -Check if building is level. Look at the edges of the wall and line them up with the edges of your screen. Use auto leveling to check as well.
  • Copy and past the attributes so all exterior shots have the color adjustments.
  • Click the first one and last, then click sync. You do not want the Transfroms, Local adjustments, crop or spot removal. Hit sync.  
  • If building edges are bowed or uneven past the help of auto leveling, hit guided and a + symbol plus a line will appear, run it down the edge of the wall. Then find another straight edge.-
  • Interiors: Click on interior preset. Sync the interior photos like above.
  • At the end, check vertical lines, check if photos are level and touch up. Then export.

6) Retouching Drone Photos

  • Similar to exterior retouching, however now that there is a horizon line to factor in make sure it's level.
  • Go to crop tab, click angle tool. Click hold and drag across horizon line to string it up. Or click auto. -
  • Boosting saturation of water and decreasing luminance.
  • Copy and sync for the rest of the images. Make sure horizon lines are level.
  • Export

7) Remove Objects Using Clone Tool

  • How to remove signs, especially realitor signs as it's considered branding. Can cause fines.
  • Use clone tool. Click ctrl.
  • Make sure when cloning that the area is matched.
  • If something looks off, use the feather tool to make it look clean.

8) Retouching Twilight Images

  • Click exterior. Then double click exposure slider to balance it, we want it to look a little darker. Do retouching, leveling and syncing like above.

9) Adding Arrows To Drone Photos

  • Click photo then right click and hit edit in photoshop.
  • Right click line tool, hit custom tool setting, then click and drag an arrow. Go to stroke and fill it in red. Command S to save. So the image saves back to lightroom.
  • Repeat the process.-Export both photos with arrows and without.

10) Export Images from Light Room to Client's Final Folders

  • -Click first image, then shift click the last image. Then click shift command E for export. Go back to our software and copy the address of the client and add it into file naming; custom text.
  • 6000 x 3000 300dpi -Set to custom name sequence
  • Click choose for the folder, go to client name 

11) Upload Final Images to Our Software And Applying Payment

  • Hit project, click photos and upload photos.-Find client name, go to final and upload all photos.
  • Then click notify clients.
  • Go to main tab. Click save changes and apply payment if client did not already pay online. If balance due is needed, then add and hit save changes.

12) Payment Error

  • Protocol if the payment doesn't go through.
  • Go to client name, click name and call/text. Explain that the payment didn't process and get back with us as soon as you can.  

13) Video Uploading

  • Organize the video. Create new folder if month/date is diferent. Do similar organizing workflow.
  • Click on project in our program, go to videos. Find client and upload video. Then upload video to Vimeo. Drag and drop.
  • On vimeo, change the title we only want the address. Edit thumbnail. Make sure address is up on the screen. Put it in architectural videos.
  • Upload for client and go through notify client and apply payment.

13.1) Video Unbranded and Branded  Uploading

  • Change title put "branded or unbranded" in the description so that you know which video is which.
  • Change thumbnail make sure the address is on screen when you select the thumbnail.
  • Organize video into "Architectural Video" group and then "save".
  • Copy the last digits of the Vimeo url and pass them into Full Frames Branded or Unbranded video tab.

14) Uploading Matter Port

  • Go to dashboard and find client, copy address, click view project.
  • Click videos and embeds tab, where we will paste matter port. -Sign into matter port.com and add address.  -
  • Edit the matter ort and set up our start location. Start at the front of the house. Start location button and set it and let it save. Click exit and publish.
  • Go to details. (How to find details, go to client project, click on their name and find details.) Add company name, phone number, website if they have one, Name and contact email.  
  • Share and click anyone with this link, options tab. Copy link. Only paste last line of address code. Save and  then notify client.  
  • Go to download's tab and click add custom link. Add Matterport link (Matterport branded tour). Then Matterport unbranded tour. Lastly MLS Ready Link. Save.  
  • Don't forget to Preview. 

15) Fixing Hazy Image with Radial Filter

  • For when house is shot in the sun Apply exterior preset.-
  • Do the normal adjustment, make the grass a little darker and bring the blues down for the sky. -
  • Go to radial filter (circle icon), click hold and drag over hazy area. Hit invert so it's covering house. Click O for overlay. Add some texture withiin the radial filter. Add clarity. Dehaze.
  • If the house looks super dark, go to exposure and brighten it up a bit. -If color looks off, make up for it in color sliders.

16) Real Time Retouching

  • Make sure client photos are in order before retouching. Usually put laundry room at the end of interior photos. Make sky brighter by decreasing luminance. Try and start in the living room first before bedrooms.
